Kii is a Peach player from the west of Japan. This weekend he managed to get his first top3 placing in a local tournament with Peach. He got 3rd at the tournament losing to Masashi in Winners Finals and 9B in Losers Finals - it's not confirmed yet but I think he beat Earth that tournament. Videos are being uploaded on youtube [user/westsmash]. Videos vs Masashi are already up:

that was some freaky wack *** jump...the hell im gonna learn to do that, somethin to do with a glide toss/jump is what it looked like to me

He won the first set against 9Bs DDD [notice that he pulled like 4 bombs or so that set 0_o]. In the second set, which wasn't up at that time 9B beats him with his ICs in LF.

His ICs are really broken. He almost never misses the CG and his powershielding is insane.

Actually I agree with him as well except for the part where he said that like three charachter are able to punish her, Im pretty sure even they cant. In Europe they say "who cares if Peach cant kill, just spam Fair till it kills!".

Wow thank you so much, I wanted to look up his vids when I saw he got fifth at a tourney but no vids had been recorded at that time. I just watched his first and his Peach is amazing! His floating game is amazing and I love that airdodge trick. I'll watch the rest when I get internet again.

you play well but ya just do slow stuff and you're impatient sometimes.

like in the mk one notice how like 80-90% of the damage you built was because you camped and had a strong ground game. ground moves did everything for you but then you'd get impatient and try to do slow **** like float dair and you'd approach with it which is worse. if you look at the vid again, you being punished for doing unnecessary stuff in the air is also like 80-90% of the damage you received lol.

in the lucario one i don't think you need to bother floating so high. the higher you are, the more openings you have b/c peach has slow fall speed. it's just easy to see what you're up to but if you just lower it a little bit and save your double jump in your float i think you'll get hit by less stuff. hmm...you can afford to still be more patient though. it's not like you can powershield aura sphere or fsmash and in close quarters you can prob afford to jab more. idk, you did just fine 'cept for some of the obvious approaches.

Most people usually have someone who has inspired the path they choose to take, Excel was that for me back in 09.

wow Excel Zero has some amazing reading capabilities.

The Snake sucked *** at the Peach matchup.

First stock of first video was ... amazing.

Third stock of last video was delicious.

Excel needs to work on killing and using correct kill moves in the appropriate situation, but other than - that pretty nice stuff.

How do you know? I don't see any characters next to my name. ;)

And give him a break bro, I'm pretty sure he's coming off of a Brawl hiatus/maining MK before going back to Melee, while primarily playing Melee Peach. At the risk of sounding like a fanboy, I'm just kinda speaking from a relate-able perspective of trying to balance both games myself at one point in time (assuming that is the case).

no - don't get me wrong lol. he *****, STILL. Especially considering whatever hiatus he has gotten off of lately.

i just hope he's watching some things and going to try and improve on them.

oh i just watched vid 1. idk, tell your friend to look at all the points he shielded and then tell him to think of something better.

he'd like flash shield or unnecessarily shield coz he got scared but most of the time he almost certainly could've done something better, even just being stationary haha. but yeah too much shielded slows his pch down and puts him on the defensive too much.

I can' t believe I let myself drop the ball first stock on SV. I had such a good thing going and I end up losing the first stock from poor choices and mistakes. I know Snakes and he' s one of the MUs I have the most experience in, but I'm going to have to get used to MVD' s level as well and work on the slip ups.(so many accidental rolls and missinputs >.>)
