Well, that aside, I hear Pokémon with moves they cannot learn naturally in Gen V, will not be allowed to be used on random wi-fi. This essentially locks down usage of the myriad of Stealth Rock users, including popular suicide leads, like Aerodactyl and Azelf, or the ever-so useful Wish Blissey. Furthermore, Giratina isn't allowed on random wi-fi either.

Of course, this pertains only to random wi-fi. Friend battles are fair game.

P.S. I just realized Outrage Salamence and Kingdra are unplayable in random wi-fi as well. >__>

Huh. I ought to check into that. I'm surprised I even missed such an important update. Perhaps I was at the Comic Con during that time. Well, here I go. Brb. :3

EDIT: I just went around everywhere, and so far nothing has been confirmed of such a fix. I'd like to know where you heard/read about it. Until then, the best thing people can do is wait for the worldwide release, or playtest the hell out of the Japanese versions until we can get some clarity on how the wi-fi servers work.

They're so un-****ing-friendly to everyone and they don't have the skills to back it up. I mean, I ask one of the mods in the beta server that if there was any gen 5 after hearing there were, and the ****ing ******* shuts me up. For teh love of god, they could've just responded with a friendly no. And I've already seen a couple of them battle, they suck balls, yet they are douchebags to everyone all the time I feel like peeking at the chat there

After several days of being on this board, I can't help but feel the Pokéboards are completely (or nigh completely) ignoring my existence. Like, no one seems to even notice me. I just want to be apart of the community... that's all. I'm not usually one to whine about things like this, but lately, constant ignoring and subtle belittling does get vexing over time.

EDIT: there are, like, 3 people who seem to acknowledge me at least. I forgot to mention that.

The more you talk, the more you get noticed

and in the snorlax room, conversation doesn't happen so much as people start posting about whatever they like. It kinda gets summed up like this:

tery: pokecenter events, tries to respond to posts before him but types in a tl;dr manner
shimazu: **** about his girlfriend, tcg, or breeding, regardless of whatever was posted before him
charmander: whining like a little kid
fuelbi: whining like a little kid
ulti: generally pokemon stuff, sometimes whines about various things
wave+: generally one-liners. sometimes relevant, sometimes not.
leafy: cool stuff, actually responds to people!
circa: talks about relevant stuff, also about pokemon
you: talks about various relevant pokemon things
mods: whine about moderator ****, EXCEPT PR, SPIRE, AND CHILL CUZ THEY'RE BROS. Firus is cool. Meta-kirby can eat a ****.
other pc semi-regulars: post about pokemon stuff...usually.

Moderators can only infract in their assigned room(s). Pink Reaper is the Moderator for Kirby (Melee?) so he cannot infract you. If you did something similarily over there, then he could.
