on the topic of pre reg, i finally got around to updating the pre reg list after a couple of days, were up to a lil over 30 actual pre reg'd attendees. its lookin nice!

it got a little hype which led to some way out of region people picking it as something to go to, and that basically drove it over the edge into being one of the hugest brawl tourneys there has been.

not bad for being invented in the middle of a conversation about how good the cheesy gordita crunch I was eating was

yea i should be able to house a bunch of ppl (like 8 or so?) and i give priority to ppl coming from furhter away (only seems fair) so thats good for like 2 differ sets of OOR(region) ppl, so texas and cali maybe? too good

iv used at my tourneys in the past and have seen others use and have yet to see it be broken at all lol. every change effects everyone almost equally, with any benefits being somewhat small (like ICs not sliding on ice)

lol this is how this tourney essentially started:
(me and andyg eatin taco bell after vgxpo saturday)
me - where did all these ppl come from? and i dont like running a tourney for the vgxpo, too many restrictions and probs
andy - i swear this cheesy gordita crunch is amazing
me - thats it! im holding a tourney! .... and i gotta get me one of them tacos

lol

and so i organized this tourney in less that 2 days getting the venue confirmed and posting it on the boards

That's one thing I like about MM's though. You can set them up like this. I'll be doing standard format all day in tournament :).
