As a noob, this was my first Tournament, and I had some fun at it.

I mained Sonic, and lost to AndyG, JCaesar, AJ, and not really anyone else notables in pools.

My first match was actually against M2K and Lee in doubles and I must say i was disappointed. I was expecting him to be buff and an awesome guy, but he actually looks rather sickly and i was worried someone would bump into him and break all his bones. They did crush us in 2s both times, but we made sure he didn't three stock us haha. Lee's Lucario is pretty banging.

I did meet some cool people the coolest of which was Blue, who has a sexy sonic. But overall, I was really disappointed in the Brawl Tournament scene as most people are really snobby and act like they know much more than they really do.

After some matches, I would've loved to throw down the controller and yell "Atleast I've been touched by a woman!"

Good Showing nonetheless. From the noob's perspective, I'm not angry at Chibo at all as I had plenty of time to do friendlies against some of the people I had been watching in youtube videos!

maybe you got a bad impression, a lot of the Brawlers I've met are pretty cool.

SamuraiPanda is saving this, if he's at any future tournaments with Live Streams he should commentate for Finals. He's just got an amazing radio voice.

This tournament has failed. No low tiers,no crews,no mm stations.nothing that was promised. Im still friends with chibo but seriously this tournament was beyond unorganized.

I heard the cops kicked people out. I just tried calling Nuro and he didn't answer. So I'm clueless as to what happened.

Here are the rumors

Evidently Chu got punched or something.

The venue Chibo had has had several windows broken, several smashers are missing and may be behind it.

SlikVic has apparently been arrested for beating the crap outta someone there, Hat is trying to find out who it was.

They only had the venue til 10. The cops unplugged the match ally was in. The whole crowd went into a f**k you chibo rant outside and people(especially the candaidans) were demanding there money back and saying they never coming to the east coast again. My friend told me chibo was escorted back home by the cops.

Okay, this needs to be cleared up.

They were not cops, they were Drexel Security. There is a giant difference.

BIG UPDATE AS TO WHAT'S GOING ON IN COT4:

20-30 people were still in singles.
I'm not sure if top 2 even played for their money in doubles.
Security moved in as of 10 pm EST to forcibly remove people, threatening police action.
Rumor was everyone still in the tournament would split the near 2300 dollars in the pot EVENLY.
SamuraiPanda told me 'serious ****' was going down and would call me back in a bit.

IMPORTANT: Rofa, a MI smash player, was filming this event for a documentary he is making. Oh yeah, he's got this all on tape =)

Everyone, we have a serious situation here. Someone get ahold of RIG to find where Chibo is hiding so we can resolve this.

Please post things you know about COT4 so we can all stay updated.

lol like 4nace said they weren't exactly cops but drexel security. Still things were well out of hand.

But supposedly everything was taped so it will be on the dvd lol.

I was one **** win away from brackets. God **** rainbow cruise.

Wow. Just wow. I was only part-way through my pool when the first day ended and I couldn't make the second day, but seriously? If any rioting ever happened, I hope nobody got hurt and the venue didn't get trashed. Really, I can't bear to imagine what's going to happen to Chibo. Single-handedly responsible for getting all of the smashers in the US + Canada pissed off and likely never to return to this coast. I hope he doesn't get acute depression or anything like that and have thoughts of suicide, because that'd be the worst of all. Best of luck getting everything under control and getting a winner out of this.

I did not hear anything of Random Ike Guy while I was at the tournament. Was he just a first-timer who went Ike for all of his matches and lose to everybody, and he's now a legend because of his preserverance in going all Ike? I don't get it...

Lol.... it doesn't mean they won't come back to this coast just means they won't go to another of Chobos tourneys.

I just called Fatal.

He said the cops escorted Chibo home, people rioted and such, and that there is a possibility of the tournament finishing at Chibo's place.

even though dojo went to losers cause of m2k, he 2 stocked m2k in one of thier matches and barely lost the others to m2k

ally vs lee martin then the winner plays m2k for winner finals(not grand finals)

infinity lost to malcom X (wario) but infinity is still in
