this happens because skilled players know what is the best move in certain situations which first time players have no knowledge of so they dont choose the best or expected moves hence why you fail against them. Spam projectiles and shield grab.

The competitive scene will not die for Brawl because online was a huge leap from online-less Melee. The only difference is that the competitive crowd is a different one this time around. It is unfair to say that the competitive players haven't given Brawl a chance before choosing to go back...

I've been playing Brawl for about 2 weeks now. So far, it is a fun game but compared to Melee it lacks as a fighter. See after 6 months or so. But I don't think much will change. Melee was deep and full of danger. It is difficult to get gimpy kills in Brawl which takes away the danger...
