That's just because MK's a monster. Against other characters it isn't quite as bad. But yes, his options are fairly limited.

I have some attack patterns. I'm working on mixing it up more. Sometimes I choose a kill move ahead of time, and keep it fresh while using up the other ones, limiting my kill options.

No nana Diddy is underrated. I'm not saying don't use the bananas. But his fair is amazing. His bair is great, uair is pretty good. Side b is awesome, tilts are all pretty solid, and his dash attack is incredible. He has an above average grab game too. So yeah, even after opponents...

I think Snake is a hard matchup for Diddy, but not #2. I'm fairly sure Luigi is going to be in the top 5 worst. Wario might be but Diddy does surprisingly well against him (compared to other characters in the cast, few of whom have any advantage on Wario).

The combo meter in training mode just means the moves are done in a certain fast succession, not that they are inescapable.

I'm fairly sure Dash Attack does true combos into Fair Dair Nair Uair Utilt Usmash Banana at low % I haven't tested, but I know that if anything they are all very hard to escape (though the combo to Usmash and Utilt can be definitely escaped at higher %'s for some chars)

Lucario has AWFUL grab range. You can probably space a uair so that he can't shieldgrab you even..
