    3ds Max works fine. All you need to do is set the import to ColladMax and then just apply a 'normal' modifier beneath the skin modifer and then do collapse to and it'll be fine.

    Pharrox, to truly see if that is the only problem left, convert an original brawl model from MDL0 to Collada and then back. Then, just copy those values from the original mdl0.

    Ok, so I fixed my problem. I was using the Fbx importer. There is another problem however, the normals come out all messed up. Pharrox, can you fix this?

    When I used the converter with Captain Falcon, his Geometry was all messed up. When I used it with Marth, I got a parse error in Max when trying to import.

    I think you should first work on converting the models BACK into .mdl0. It shouldn't replace the model completely because that would get rid of the animation data and stuff, but just replace the actual model part.
