    Thanks for the info. I had a feeling I would be fine with a 2DS, but I didn't want to make any assumptions.

    Easy character to pick up?

    This. Her tilts make her extremely easy to use. Marth is also a good choice because of the sword. I would not recommend Peach. Her movement is unusual (weird second jump) and priority is not going to matter much in a battle of scrubs.

    Sorry if this has been discussed somewhere else, but I wanted to know about playing the new Smash Bros on a 2DS. Will this be possible? Or do I need a 3DS? If I can play it on a 2DS, am I losing any important functionality? TIA.

    change what? could you be more clear? im pretty sure if you try either upB or overB when you are above the edge, it wont go to the edge. luckily, u dont go into a freefall, so u can just do it again to grab the edge. still tho... anyone know the pros/cons for up/overB ?????

    if you really want to practice short hopping, buy a copy of melee. Get melee, play fox, try to shorthop. keep practicing until u can do it consistently. after that, shorthopping with Zamus will seem like a piece of cake

    "bash the wii" would probably be more accurate. and im not saying that brawl is not worth $50, it is. but im just disappointed with the changes. no L canceling? come on, that was in ssb64. and SSE was just a bunch of running around... it was ok

    they usually come out on the 360 first. plus a 360 is a lot cheaper than upgrading my pc. either way, i really wish i had invested in a 360 or a new pc instead of a wii... and to think about all the effort it took to get one. i really feel dumb
