Finally back from my Smash-induced hiatus!

I think Ness's purple shirt may be themed after Earthbound's Yes Man Jr., who wears a purple full-body suit with a skeletal ribcage on the front.

Here's how I'm feeling about the roster: 1) Bowser Jr: I can't say I have supported any Mario characters for Smash 4, but outside of Smash speculation, one of my favorite Mario characters is Jr, so I easily warmed up to his inclusion. Also, Clown Car. That's cool. 2) Dr. Mario: I'm pretty iffy...

I'm glad that there are inconsistencies to point out, because if this was real, I'd be upset. Kid Icarus gets a "reboot": two new characters. Donkey Kong gets a "reboot": nothing new.

I do find the whole Rayman thing pretty fishy. I'm not going to start a "RAYMAN4SMASH" movement about it, but using the rights for a character just to have them be a little Easter egg is weird. It's been done before, I'm sure, but not in Smash.

I don't think it'll have any impact. Not only is it new, but Sakurai has a tendency to disregard spinoffs...well, most spinoffs (looking at you, Mario). I mean, Pokemon has multiple Spinoffs, with Ranger and Mystery Dungeon immediately coming to mind, and yet there's absolutely no mention of...

Out of those two, I would prefer Vaati. But, as I stated above, overall, I'm growing partial towards Impa. Agatha for Smash You're right. But Impa has still been one of few characters to be in more than one game, which, for Zelda, is pretty impressive.
