I have decided to make a Ray Mk III (or, actually, Custom Robo generally) moveset, which will include the customization factors of the Custom Robo games in them into the moveset. I will base it on the newest installment - Custom Robo Arena for the DS.

I hope you look forward to it~

PROFESSOR OAK

Seriously. Get some Oak into ya!
You know, despite how often you've posted that, you've gotten next to no replies. And I know how frustrating that can be. Therefore, and because Oak is an awesome guy, I will give you my first full-length review!

SO. Let's break this down step by step, with nice Mendez-style categories:

RELEVANCE TO CHARACTER: I really can't argue with this part... like, at all. Many attacks use props from the Pokemon series, Pokedexes and textbooks and such. You captured the comic relief part of Oak's character in most of his moves. My personal favourite being Down Smash; it just seems so... Oak-ish to drop a stack of books on his foe's toes. Nice inclusion of Muk and the herd of Tauros. My only caveat here is that I don't remember any connection between Oak and Abra, Nidoran, Pidgey, or Rattata. Maybe something with Bulbasaur, or any of the other Pokemon that he keeps? Or, better yet, starters? Might overlap with Pokemon Trainer... 9/10

DETAIL: Hmm, some attacks here seem a bit vague to me. His neutral air, for one, could use more elaboration. In general, all the individual stats seem to be here, though, and most moves can be envisaged without much trouble. 7/10

BALANCE: Well, damage output on his Aerials is ridiculously low. In fact, many of his attacks do tragically little. Considering that he's also fairly slow and has low priority on many moves, this may result in an underpowered character. This is somewhat excusable, it being an old man and all, and the Specials may helps in the damage-racking department, so this isn't too shabby. 6/10

ORIGINALITY: This is good in some spots and bad in others. The aforementioned Down Smash, A Combo, Up and Forward Air, Up Smash, and Down Special are all very solid ideas. Others, though, are more or less copy-pasted from other characters, you admit. The Final Smash also suffers in this department. 5/10

PLAYSTYLE: By that, I mean does the character have a consistent feel throughout, and a unique and/or interesting playstyle. Having an actual "Playstyle" section kinda helps for this. Oak's strange and laggy attacks seem to come together to make a fairly unique, erratic style, even without a special mechanic. The Pokemon Specials kinda clash with the rest of his set, but it IS Oak. Overall, this definitely feels like a comic-relief old man, so it's a winner in my book. 7/10

ORGANIZATION: This looks pretty okay. I prefer not to highlight the whole attack in some bright colour, and rather only the name of it, but you've avoided the more painful palettes. The pictures seem a bit unnecessary here and there, but it's impossible to really complain about pictures. I would sort the extras a bit better. The only real problem I have is how each attack's stats are lined up next to one another in a confusing blur. It may add to the vertical length of the set, but I'd put them each on separate lines. 6/10

OVERALL: I'm quite impressed. You did an especially good job in capturing Oak's character. The biggest thing to improve would be those duller attacks. For instance, his Down Tilt could maybe be him clutching his back, shouting "AH! My lumbago!" and falling to the ground, squashing characters with a full-body hitbox. Just as an example. All in all, well done.

40/60

Oh, and Spadefox is right, you shouldn't as a rule repeatedly post it. Maybe once a page. At most. :p

Going to Gamelon. I'm taking the Triforce of Spag
Sorry for being MIA. I'm busy doing important things like researching sheep diseases that could infect a human woman and cause her to miscarry.

...What?

It might also be fun to put in Aeneas' mom Venus for MYM 4, as the image of her appearing as a huntress to him in book 1 of it gave me some ideas. :B I'm such a nerd.

A + A + A: Ratchet hits the enemy with his wrench from the left, then from the right, and then you swing down with your wrench. Good knockback, but slight lag executing it. 4% + 4% + 7% damage.
{notes} {This is a strong combo for Ratchet due to it being one of his stronger knockback no lag moves}

Up Tilt: Ratchet flings his wrench directly upward. Mid knockback, no lag. 6% damage.
{notes} {This is not one of the best up tilts in the game, yet it can juggle the opponent in the air with a skilled player.}

Side Tilt: Ratchet hits forward with his wrench. Low knockback, no lag. 9% damage.
{notes} {This attack is not the best attack, yet, can deal high damage to the opponent in the hit and run situation.}

Down Tilt: Ratchet ducks and swings his wrench around 360*F. Mid knockback, no lag. 8% damage.
{notes} {This move is very good due to its good range and easy knockback.}

Dash Attack: Ratchet slide kicks the enemy which has a high chance of tripping them and allows you to get close. 6% with low knockback and low lag.
{notes} {This move is very advantageous to Ratchet due to it allowing him to slide close to the opponent and helps out against long range people.}

SMASH ATTACKS:
Up Smash: Ratchet swings his plasma whip upwards which can knock people up in the air well due to its high knockback and 7%-18% damage.
{notes} {This is a great juggling move for Ratchet which allows him to shut down others air-game.}

Side Smash: Ratchet takes out his jet and starts charging. Once charge is let go Ratchet boosts across the stage. It has low knockback and 2% damage per hit.
{notes} {This is a good side recovery for Ratchet.}

Down Smash: Ratchet puts his arms out and starts charging. Once charge is let go Ratchet swings his plasma whip around wildly for the charged time. It has medium knockback and 6% damage per hit.
{notes} {This move is one of Ratchets fasted moves and allows him to completely shut up enemies close-range game.}

Standard Aerial: Ratchet takes out his razor clawz and slices the air in front of him. Low knockback and no lag. 7% damage.
{notes} {A standard swipe with top priority.}

{notes} {This move is great for Ratchet and adds to Ratchets recovery.}

Backwards Aerial: Ratchet takes out his razor clawz and swipes backwards in a spinning thrust. No knockback and no lag. 6% damage.
{notes} {This move is great for Ratchet and adds to Ratchets recovery.}

Up Aerial: Ratchet takes out his razor clawz and swipes upwards. Low knockback and no lag. 7% damage.

Down Aerial: Ratchet takes out his razor claws and swipes down in a spinning thrust. No knockback and no lag. 6% damage.
{notes} {This move is the last of Ratchets aerial moves and advantage.}

Glide: Clank takes out his glider and starts allowing Ratchet to glide to the side much likes pits glide.

Grabs:
Grab Attack: Ratchet grabs the enemy and bounces him off the ground.

Up Throw: Ratchet takes out his plasma whip and whips the enemy upward.

Forward Throw: Ratchet grabs the enemy and uses his razor clawz to swipe him forward.

Backward Throw: Clank grabs the enemy and rocket thrusts him backwards.

Down Throw: Ratchet takes out his wrench and smashes him downwards with it.

Specials:
Standard Special: Ratchet takes out his exterminator B42 gun allowing him to shoot globs of lava onto the ground which slow and damage opponents 1% damage every 1.5 seconds for any enemy who go into it. Lasts 5 seconds before disappearing.
{notes} {A very unique fun move.}

Side Special: Ratchet takes a glove bomb and chucks it at the enemy, it works like the grenade but sticks to the place it hits and has delay. 9% damage and low knockback.
{notes} {Very strong move due to the ability to it being able to stick to enemies.}

Up Special: Clanks helipad comes out and he hovers up into the air.
{notes} {Almost identical to Snakes recovery but not as easily gimped.}

Down Special: Clank takes out his rockets and thrusts upwards. Works exactly like Wario's fart, yet less damage and radius yet faster. 6-18% damage with mid knockback and no lag.
{notes} {Great recovery and damage technique.}

Final Smash:
Clanks Zoni come out and start hovering around you. Very much like Sonics allowing him to hover and deal high levels of fast damage to the enemy.

Snake's Codec:
Snake: An animal and a robot? Wow, what is Sakurai thinking now?
Otacon: Don't be fooled, Ratchet and Clank have more advanced technology then you. Along with Sakurai didn't make him, Sony hacked him into the game ;)
Snake: How is that possible? We have the most advanced technology on the planet.
Otacon: Who ever said he's from earth?
Snake: Well i will look out for him.

Nice moveset thar, I will, like, read the full one through in more detail, but I like what I see. Your Up Special is identical to what I had planned, similarities to Snake's recovery withstanding.

Now for a shameless SSE post....

THE ETERNAL DARKNESS AND WINGS OF HOPE
WARNING!!! THIS INSTALLMENT IS SURE TO SUCK BAWLS. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!! ALSO, VOTE FOR ONE OF TWILTHERO'S MOVESETS WHEN THE CONTEST ENDS!!!!!!

Chapter 6: The casino bar:

Narrator: Last time, we saw Pelleas being attacked by the empire, leaded by a commander known as Giacomo. Pelleas barely manages to escapes and knows that he needs help. He goes off to Crimea...and well he makes it. He finds Leonardo, who happens to be traveling, and Geoffrey as they just defeated some thugs and driving them out of the city. We join the bumbling trio as they stop and rest at a stangely modernized casino bar........despite them being in Tellius right now......

Geoffrey and Pelleas are seen sitting near a table, drinking. It appears that they are talking to each other about the situation.

"Tell me Pelleas. What do you expect us to do now?" Geoffrey first speaks up.

"I think that our troubles are all part of the empire's fault. My guess is that we find a way to leave Tellius and head to Mira, where the empire is." Pelleas responds.

Geoffrey shakes his head in agreement, but all of a sudden says, "Hey you seen Sir Leonardo?"

We join our TMNT friend as he's seen talking to some old guy. It is Yau-man. Yau-man just stands there while Leo talks.

"Tell me.........who are you?" Leonardo says.

"You tell me. I'm just a guy from the Survivor TV show who's time has passed already. I can see much anger in you. Calm down and let me talk to you." Replys Yau-man.

"Who the heck do you think you are? Master Splinter? No your not. Don't try to lecture me old man!!" Leonardo responds not being able to control his anger.

Leo gets up, getting ready to fight by bringing his katanas out. Yau-man then turns his face into a serious motion. He knows what to do. He must fight back.

Part 1: Leo vs teh Yau:
Objective: Defeat opposing opponent
Music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvEMQbqbk5o
Characters: Leonardo or Yau-man

You know what to do....

No matter who you choose, the outcome remains the same.

Leonardo realizes that there powers and skills are matched. He puts his katanas away and bows in respect. Yau-man smiles in a way meaning "it's ok." They talk a bit, and then they decide to sit near a table for a drink.

Meanwhile, totally radical rock music starts playing in the bar. Everyone seems to be enjoying it........cept for Geoffrey. He doesn't exactly has gotten accustom to "loud music." He walks up the stage to see whats going on.

We see the classic old Megaman boss known as Vulturon. It looks like he's simply just playing some rock music on his guitar. Geoffrey cannot stand another minute hearing that rackit. He takes his spear and throws it at Vulturon’s guitar, utterly destroying it in the process.
Vulturon looks at Geoffrey and says, “HEY!!! Whats the big idea pal?!?! This is a rock concert! I know i tried to kill Megaman in the past, but that stuff is long over now!!! I’m just here to make some music!!!”
Geoffrey gets angry and says, “Well turn it down!!! It’s too loud for me! I’m just here to drink in peace.”
Vulturon lets out a facepalm to himself and talks back. "Wha-?!! What are you? An old man or something?!?!? That's it!!! Stop ruining the most awesome rock show that everyone is enjoying!!! Your going down!!!"

Geoffrey brings out his spear. "No one should ever insult me. HYYYAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!"

Part 2: Rock and roll against Geoffrey XD:
Objective: defeat opposing opponent!!!
Music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t82-VhIphDE
Characters: Vultorun or Geoffrey

U know what to do....

If Geoffrey wins, he points his spear at Vultorun laying on the ground. Vultorun will say, "Fine.....finish me off.....but.....for all the loyal fans....you must save the show....!!!!" Geoffrey hearing that, will pick up Vultorun, and outs away his lance in respect. Vultorun, realizing what he has to do, simply continues the show.

If Vultorun wins, Geoffrey will lay on the ground. Vultorun will say, "Yeah!!!! That's what i'm talking about!!! Hardcore man!! You have my respect!!" Vultorun continues the show....and Geoffrey simply just watches....

Leonardo and Yau-man walk up to the 2 of them once the show was over. Everyone, besides Vultorun, Leo, Geo, Pelleas and Yau-man has left. They immediately start talking to each other.

"........So....what do you guys want from me!?" Vultorun asks.

Pelleas first speaks up. "Have you heard of the recent empire attacking around Tellius lately? I have encountered the soldiars already. It's only a matter of time before they attack here.....the place where you rock and roll..."

"PPSSHHHh........that will never happen. This is a remote place where the empire can never find this place. If the empire finds this place, i'll just simply rock somewhere else. Don't think i'll join you."

Pelleas, Leo, and Geo just shrug themselves. Yau-man walks up to Vultorun and talks some wise mumbo jumbo to him.

Vultorun lets out a huge heavy sigh, and....reluctantly agrees to help against the cause of the corrupt empire.

Suddenly....a strange evil shadow appeared out of the bar window. Leonardo immediately regonizes the shadow.

"I.....i think i just saw a ghost!!!" He responds. Leonardo immediately dashes outside the door, while others follow him as well. Leo looks in shock to see someone.

THE SHEREDDER!!! Leonardo immediately beings out his 2 katanas. "Wah....i thought i took you down already!!! WAY DOWN!!!"

The Sheredder lets out a huge laugh at the ninja turtle. "Foolish turtle!!! Do you really think that the plot writers of the TMNT show would let me die easily? Too bad!!!"

The Sheredder then points his hand forward at the turtle. "Foot soldiars!!! GET THEM!!!"

All of a sudden, ninja fighters dressed in black (no racism intended), pop from there hiding places. They come in all sorts of variety of weaponry.

The Sheredder lets out a huge laugh at Leonardo, and leaves the place, VIA darkness portal.

Leonardo, Pelleas, Yau-man, Geoffrey, and Vultorun prepare themselves.

Part 3: Sheredder's minions does the dirty work:
Objective: Clear stage of Foot Ninja fighters
Music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtKYPrksAbM
Characters: Leonardo, Pelleas, Geoffrey, Yau-man, Vultorun

There are 30 soldiars in total. They come in all sorts of weaponry. Sword, Shurikin, Bow user, Fighter and invisability.

Sword users only use...well there swords. The do basic hack and slash attacks. They can be KOED easily with only 15% damage racked up on them.

Shurikin and bow fighters fight from a far. They go down at 10% damage. Shurikin fighters are more faster projectile throwers while bows are stronger.

Fighters are just go in to the attacking with punches and kicks. Invisability are the same thing......except there invisable :bee:

After that long fight, the foot soldiars retreat. Leonardo, with his face all angry at stuff, knows that following them, will lead to the Sheredder. He immediately follows them, with no destination, with the others, having no choice but to follow as well....

TO BE CONTINUED.......

Can somebody review my movesets before this is over?
Worship me, for I am merciful, and have free time to spare. I note that your Sauron did not get a SINGLE comment, which I feel is somewhat unfair. Therefore, you, Smashbot, get my second full-length review!

SAURON

RELEVANCE TO CHARACTER: This category seems to be pretty solid. This certainly feels like the small peek we got of Sauron in action in the first movie, slow but oh-so-strong. The Ring is nicely included as a kind of super-shield, which is great to see, as it should be as good as possible without being broken. The Eye of Sauron has an attack, he can teleport, which fits him, although I'm not sure where you got the Shadowing Ball concept from. The attacks all seem pretty much like how Sauron would fight, with one bewildering exception; I can't see Sauron ever headbutting foes. Up Tilt much? 8/10

DETAIL: I can't in good conscience give you an EXCELLENT mark for this, but damage, knockback, and lag are present on almost all attacks, as is priority on some. I can pretty easily envisage 90% of 'em, as they're ably described, but there are a few curiosities: for one, I'd like some elaboration on the mask-fire in Up Smash. 7/10

BALANCE: Oooh. Sauron's strength here is also his weakness. He is truly a character of extremes: the slowest, the strongest, the heaviest, the laggiest, the biggest, the worst jumper, fast-faller... and then, of course, the super armor mechanic. As much as I like the idea, I think it's busted to an extent. Who cares if your moves lag when you can continue through their animations while being hit; your lag can't be punished properly. For projectile characters and those with okay range, it may be possible to rack up the necessary 60% to disable the technique, but what about characters like Kirby, Squirtle, or Jigglypuff? I don't see how they could hope to beat Sauron, who could wipe out such light characters in three or four moves. The Ring doesn't really do you any favors here, as it does in other categories; an improved shield is pretty dang good. Not to mention that both the Eye and the Ball give him ranged attacks. This, added to his super armor and his huuge weight, make him a bit much. I'd keep the armor but maybe tone down his attacks; you don't need all of them to be KO potential. Oh yeah, one more itty bitty note: a throw that does 25%??? Who cares if they can punish you: if they try it, you won't take any knockback and can just throw them again! 4/10

ORIGINALITY: Now we come to the flip side. As annoying as that mechanic is in Balance, it's great here. I love the concept, and feel it as perfect for Sauron as it would be for anyone else. The Ring is an idea that I haven't really seen anywhere else, and the use of two weapons, one of which is a mace, gives a really fun set of moves. Eye of Sauron may be somewhat like Disable, but that's one of few caveats I have in this category. 8/10

PLAYSTYLE: This ties in with what I just said. What with the invincibility and the huge, slow attacks, Sauron has a playstyle unlike any other; a slow, lumbering series of attacks that you must work hard to dodge, sweating all the while. While having every attack laggy may be frustrating for the player, it's great here, as it gives him a really clear and homogenous identity. 8/10

ORGANIZATION: Well, I do like to see more colour. The stats have some unnecessary spacing there at the beginning. Underlining or bolding the names of the attacks would help here, also. However, you managed to sort a lot of material fairly well, so points to you. 6/10

EXTRAS: You have a LOT of them. I'm not basing my judging on these, as I feel they just add to the experience as... well... extras, but I do feel a set that goes above and beyond with a quality set of extras deserves a few extra points. +2

OVERALL: I really like the concepts you've laid down here. Tweaking the execution here and there would fix your biggest problem: balance issues. If you did that, I could see this as a real contender.

Lol, are you going to become a reviewer K. Rool? If you are, i'd love to get some more feedback on Sagi, but if you don't want to, i guess that's ok.

Man....i REALLY want to get started on my Savyna moveset to get ready for 4.0, but with an SSE to finish, i can't get started on it until maybe by the end of November (which is when 4.0 begins i believe, correct me if i'm wrong.) :urg:

Drake and Josh is still going under reconstruction/refixing. I'll have them done and ready by Sunday i hope.

...Something like that. Anyway, if y'guys want, I can try to do a few more reviews over the next few days, but only a few. After all, the contest IS almost over, and I'm... working on something.

That said, I guess I could make a queue. However, I'll only accept two more in addition to the three that have already been asked for. So if you want a review before the deadline, hurry hurry.

1) Sin Paw Dip (hasn't gotten any feedback as far as I know)
2) Ty the Tasmanian Tiger
3) Sagi
4) ???
5) ???

And what better time than the present?

SIN PAW DIP

RELEVANCE TO CHARACTER: Hmm... I understand now why Mendez has so much trouble with doing this for OCs. Anyway, here I guess it all depends on how much information about the guy you gave me... and you didn't exactly give much. I know what he looks like and I know he has a cannon in his chest... and swords... and I know that he's awesome. And for the rest, I have to fill it in as I read. Bamboo? Fire? A giant ship? First time I've heard of this. 4/10

DETAIL: Eeesh... Most of these attacks are really vague, shadow. "Spins around leaving a wisp of fire behind him" is a great example of this. You mention damage and range, at least, but... it's kinda hard to picture most attacks, especially since there's no picture of the actual character - you really need to bribe or blackmail someone with artistic talent into drawing one for you. 2/10

BALANCE: There's no stats here, making it kinda hard to judge this one. But just by looking at his Smashes, they all seem to have great range and lots of firepower. Since lag isn't mentioned, I don't know whether they really have a drawback. His Forward B seems kinda warped too. Although the tether recovery helps to balance him, maybez. Overall, if there isn't enough detail, the balance suffers too. 5/10

ORIGINALITY: I have mixed feelings on this. Some attack seem pretty dang cool. I like the bamboo attacks, especially the Forward Special. The Up B is a generic tether, the B is a generic charge-able projectile, and the Down B is a slightly tweaked counter. A few of the regular attacks are kinda interesting, but not enough to save the rest. 4/10

PLAYSTYLE: Ouch. I gotta say, Sin Paw Dip is all over the place. He has fire attacks - he has bamboo attacks - he drives around on wheels - he can extend his arms - he's a robot - he uses swords. It seems to me like five or so vague characters mashed together, and maybe that's the point. However, with no stats, not playstyle description, and attacks that have no apparent link, I can't give you much over here either. 2/10

ORGANIZATION: Sloppy at best. No colour, no pictures, no BBCode or anything of the sort. You have headers, I suppose. 3/10

EXTRAS: You have some extras, although they're really random: Homerun swing? Never heard of anyone including that. Anyway, take a point for effort. +1

OVERALL: I've seen your other stuff, and I know you've done much better. You've admitted a bunch of times that this is your worst moveset by far, and you've asked me what you did right. Well... you've got some attacks where you really thought outside of the box, and I'd try applying that to more attacks. Other than that, though, I'm sorry to say that this is really sloppy. The character has potential; detail was lacking here, and that dragged the whole set down. I'm looking forward to Roxas, though; from the sound of it, it should be on the exact opposite side of the spectrum, where I'll be begging for LESS detail instead of more. :p

I don't know if anyone cares at this point, but I updated my Lloyd & Colette movesets. I mostly just redid their tilts & aerials to be less generic, and Colette's case, her smashes as well. They're linked in my sig if u want to see them.

Anyway, I'm still willing to take suggestions as to any voting category or nominee I should add to my MYM awards list on pg 450. Anyone??? :p

Right-o, cheap_josh. Since Street Performer (how the heck do I make an umlaut?) just got an in-depth review from Mendez, I'd rather take Spaceman G.

1) Sin Paw Dip (complete)
2) Ty
3) Sagi
4) Spaceman G
5) ???

Only one spot left! If I get through these quickly enough (although I'm done for today), I might allow a couple more requests later on, but for now, only one more request, and preferably from someone who hasn't already requested one.

To K.Rool: I'm currently trying to finish my Plusle and Minun's Subspace story, but I should be done in about 20-30 minutes or so, so can you please review them?

To Half_Silver: I got some suggestions for new catergories...

Best Concept character (Choose three)
Best Concept creator (Choose three)
Best Pokemon (s) (Choose three)
Most likely to to be a Pokemon Master (Choose three)

I think that they can be great enteries and have some potential.
