Aww heck yeah, someone has uploaded some more of Kid Icarus: Uprisings soundtrack onto Youtube. This music! O_O

Cannot wait for the official soundtrack to release an Japan and be uploaded on Youtube.
Technically the japanese have it as a part of their Club Nintendo rewards, so it's only a matter of time before we can all get our hands on the OST.

I'm going to expect a lot of people say that they'd want Pandora's Labyrinth of Deceit as a stage...at least just for that flying portion of it. Personally I wouldn't mind the setting for Chapter 8....again just for the flying portion.
The would make for an interesting stage, I'm only on Chapter 6 though, so I can't comment on any other possible stages. I can see one of the towns happening though.

BTW, did the Labyrinth of Deceit remind anyone of Star Fox? Or is it just me?

While I like Geno, and I recognize he has a very small chance of being even in the game, I will say that he is the hands down best option for a new Mario character IMO. Toad and Bowser Jr. are cool and all, but Geno is a BAMF! Plus Geno is way better than all those characters you listed Hootsters.
Well... Shy Guy... :awesome:

Well... Shy Guy... :awesome:
Here is my response to you claiming Shy Guy is better than Geno...
I see Ghirahim get a few requests, but I have yet to see one for Impa and Anthony.
[COLLAPSE="Here is my response to that..."]
[/COLLAPSE]Still, I think the Ghirahim support will/is slowly dying.
Heck, I have seen two requests so far for even Masked Marth.
Because people like zombies and they like Marth. I personally think if
Masked Marth is Marth, it would be a great alternate outfit.
On the topic of Zelda characters, Tingle barely ever comes up.
This is my response to reading this...
Also, I interestingly saw a post analyzing the chances of various Mario characters, and I think I have stumbled upon why Toad is no requested much by Japanese Smash Bros. fans. The analysis for Toad wrote that while he is someone that SHOULD be next in line, he is basically trapped forever as being Peach's special move. They seem to think that Sakurai will never change this. As a Mario character though, Toad is really popular in Japan.
That makes sense to me me.

@Chu My guess about Bandana Dee is he is more or less in the same boat as Medusa, and to an extent, Ghirahim. Sort of new, pretty cool, but should fadebit over time. I think MOST of these character's popularity is pretty static though. Minus Ghirahim, Medusa, Palutena, Bandana, and possibly Zoroark.

Also, I still want you to start up your roster thingy in the Discussion Group ;_;

Ghirahim - 18th 156 votes
Impa - 41st 93 votes (has gained ten in the last like, month)
Anthony - 62nd 60 votes

@ aSILLYsage49 :awesome:
NOU WRONGS!
@Johnknight- Wait, Smash 4? Backwards compatibility/interconnectivity with Brawl? Has something like that ever been done?
It's called Pokémon. Gen 5 has backwards compatibility to acquire Gen 4 and Gen 3 Pokémon, and Gen 4 has backwards compatibility to acquire Gen 3 Pokémon.

Also, this is how Brawl feels when compared to Smash 64 and Melee to me...
I just got done looking at yet another Japanese Smash Bros. 4 request topic. It seems each forum has one or two characters that get a lot of requests there, but are barely requested elsewhere.
It's funny, because here in Western sites every character with an actual chance of being playable is brought up on every major smash bros site/forum/discussion.
For the topic I was looking at it was Toon Zelda and Sothe. Adeline also had an abnormal amount of support (though I saw slightly more requests for Waddle Dee).
Eoow... gross. Sothe is okay, and so is Toon Zelda, but they shouldn't be getting much support in my opinion.
As with other Japanese request topics, the main trends are:
- Mewtwo & Roy have far more requests than the actual true newcomers.
- Mega Man is by far the most requested third-party character.
- Both K. Rool and Dixie Kong get a lot of support.
This is my feelings on hearing that news makes me feel.
Also, one disturbing trend I am noticing is that on many Japanese sites there seems to be little interest in a retro character at all. They simply don't care. What is even more disturbing is that they don't seem to care about newcomer series much either.
0:13 describes what hearing this makes me feel.

I might try to get one of those games going next but they'd be kinda hard without USB controllers.

No, you are not the only one. Granted, I neither own a 3DS nor Kid Icarus: Uprising, but I am following "Let's Play" videos. In a way I am experiencing the game by proxy.

Forgetting Krom in that list, but I feel he has the best chance of having a legitimate, large fanbase.

But overall, what's being discussed?

I'm there too. Lets see who can beat the game first. :smirk:

Out of curiousity, who does everyone see in the actual character pool as of now?

^ I also prefer Melee to Brawl. Brawl took GREAT STEP at presentating Nintendo-theme, but took step back in gameplay. I hate that non-comboable floaty slow flow of battles... Melee was more fun because it was so fastpaced and every hit felt satisfying.

what do you mean by that, tri-hy

I feel like Melee just had something to it that made me keep coming back for more. Even though Brawl was more ambitious with its single-player offerings, ironically, actually prefer playing Melee's single-player modes to Brawl's single-player modes. Brawl is a ****load of fun around friends, and so is Melee, but I feel like I can enjoy Melee by myself more than I can with Brawl

I'm gonna call Tri Hy Triple Hyper now /inb4GameTengoku by Jaleco, it's Selia's bomb attack's name/

Anyway, you mean the final roster or potential characters Tri-Hy?

I suppose that would be a nice aesthetic touch.

Maybe it should instead replace the two idle animations. Because a problem could arise in the IMPLICATIONS of it. It's really not a big deal either way, but when the Pokemon do it then it implies they're weaker and they should then be switched out. If every character has the same thing, then when the Pokemon become fatigued, you wouldn't be able to tell.
You do have a good point there. But maybe the Pokemon Trainer's Pokemon may get a new handicap when they're fatigued; see the next quote for one idea...

The Pokemon Trainer's Pokemon should get stronger elemental attacks when fatigued, like their abilities in game.

:phone:
Maybe one plot could be that if the Pokemon Trainer's Pokemon has 100%+ damage, an aura will start to develop around its body, which would increase the strength of its elemental attacks.

I think that's going to affect balance way more than you think. What I think would be better without affecting anything is things like torn clothes and a panting animation like Link has in the Zelda games.
Well again I only brought that idea up as an aesthetic element. But it does have its drawbacks when you take the Pokemon Trainer into account.

Out of the characters I just listed? Heck yeah. Although I think Ghirahim is going to have a large fanbase.... that is going to go absolutely no where. I think Krom not only has a legitimate chance at being popular, but he has a legitimate chance at being PLAYABLE as well.

I want a freaking SIG. But I don't know what it could be of. >.>

Star, can you link me your workshop? I wanna snatch that Krystal Gif.

Another nickname?

Pretty much, think of it as a roster of potential characters that have a shot at getting in. I know Oasis made a character pool a while back as an example.

Yeah, I like Brawl better. Mainly due to Lucario and Charizard. But what turns me off is no YLink.
*sigh* just a bull****ter.

Yes. This would actually balance the fatigue part. That was the problem with it. It... felt pointless. Just be glad there was no Single Button Mode(should come back) in Brawl. :urg:

Also, Palutena is now considered to me as a shoe-in pretty much.

:phone:
I agree she's very likely. I however wouldn't say she's definitely going to be in the game.

Only characters I'd even dare to call a shoe-in are the original 12 and any two-time veterans from Melee. And even then... Also, Pit was confirmed already. :p

The one thing I like about Krom is his design is vastly different than that of other lords. The design of his sword is even pretty interesting. The Falchion looks more like a longsword in Awakening. Best of all he isn't Ike 2.0 like I once thought, so I am excited to see how he separates himself from the other lords.

@Horsetail: Sorry, I'm just joking because I have so many nicknames at this point. You can call me whatever you want.
