Hmm I can't possibly see DA not attending this event. Should I remind Wes about the challenge you gave him? Lmao I know Wes well enough to know that he'd do anything to come to this tournament with a match like that on the table. I'm rooting for your success though Whitemage =)

I know Comp will be showing for sure, and when I spoke to Philly and Direvulcan both of them seemed interested too. It would certainly be awesome to see all of the DA at the tournament, and it would be a lot of fun to have crew matches with all of the East Coast crews present and accounted for (besides Ths )

Whats up with the Maine guys? Surely after all the victory speeches you guys wouldn't drop out now right? At the very least show up for the money matches. If you guys are as good as you say you are sure to make a lot of cash off the many players who will challenge you.

Turtles we should probaby arrive at 11 to try to figure out which teams will work strongest. Obviously we have many team combinations that work stronger than others, and this tournament would be a good time to see the most powerful team combinations.

Oh and as a last comment, it might be a good idea to list the opening time in the first page. You can count on me being there right when the doors open heh.

Thanks for the reminder unknown, I have added that to the first post as well as our new disqualification rule. This should help to keep delays to a minimum. It's good to hear that the DA may still be coming. Though it would be nice to hear it from them. I hope they do all show up...even wes so he can take my money.

Anyway, I hope that the smash guild decides to make it. We do have a crew battle afterall. As well as anzi if they make it. I'm not accepting anymore money matches as iot seems i have $85 worth...and that's a whole lot.

If anyone is bringin equipment please try to remind us so we can add u to our list. I think the only thing we need right now may be a vcr or 2. Thanks for all of your support, i think that this is going to be a tournament to remember.

I'll try to get in contact with Wes and ask if he plans on coming. Something tells me he does, but he dosen't post much about these things. I'll also have to ask Team Ben if Bach is coming. If not, then maybe I can bring my recorder as well to tape the finals. I only have about an hour of film though, as compared to Bachs holding 30+ hours lol.

Lastly the DQ rule sounds great to me! Just so long as everyone is aware of the rules, I'm sure it will lead to no loss of time in people starting their matches. After all, who wants to get DQ'd in a tournament they paid money for? None of them I would hope, meaning that at the longest people will be waiting two minutes, which is a lot better than the amount of time wasted as most tournaments as people can't find their opponents, especially in the early rounds with the newbies who sometimes tend to get lost somehow (don't ask me how because I know not).

we plan to have decent sized signs over each tv to avoid confusion, as when we went to the gauntlet it was a bit confusing. We also plan to read all the important rules off (we have a pa system now ) such as the dq rule to avoid confusion.

tope - tetra is coming from the new york area, although i have no idea how close he'd be to you.

and the NSG is definetly coming, ive talked to banks within the last week and he confirmed.

I unfortunately forgot that I'm doing the walk for diabetes this Saturday. However it takes place pretty early in the morning (starts at 10AM), but as early as that is I probably won't be able to make the actual tournament, because I'm assuming by your posts it starts at 11am, but I'm not entirely sure. So my only reason for going would be friendlies/money matches, and I'm wondering if you guys have any TVs or time periods set aside for this purpose?

My dad is not sure to bring me or not to this tourney. If someone could give me a lift, preferably from the guys at Norwood since Marlborough is 1 hour east from Spencer, and it wouldn't waste too much time for them. Just to make sure if my dad couldn't bring me (to learn to be not too worried about me all the time). The price for joining is a bit sketchy for me, plus the enterance fee, but'll I join in anyways.

I'll do matches where I kill myself first in the beginning
I'll do matches where I give 2:1 or 3:1 or 4:1 odds (so you get _x that amount if I lose)
I'll do non-peach matches (especially money match my young link, but Falco/Dorf etc too)
I think I would do 5:1 odds vs any Samus players.

is it like an elemtary school or something?! why cant they extend it to 10 pm :D when they have school dances, it usually ends around 11:30 but if its the $$ thats causing this to only go till 9 than i suppose its all good but that leaves less time for tournament. that means we can only do teams and singles cuz teams take a good 2 hours or 3. and singles 6 to 7 hrs. :o itll be possible depending on how many kids come 64 and under its possible but if it exceeds well need more time
