I'm probably incredibly biased considering it was my first Metroid game (ever), but I really, really love Prime 2. The boss fights, the music, the enemies, Dark Samus...I loved just about everything in that game, although Torvus Bog was always a *****. I know it has the "cliche'd" Light vs. Dark theme, but it just seemed to work for me. I even liked running out of beam ammo, because it made the game more challenging and rewarding by forcing me to either conserve ammo or use only the power beam. But Boost Boss makes me rage.

Also (and I mean every bit of this), I was an absolute monster at the Echoes multiplayer. No one could beat me, and I used to find all these cool hiding spots and such. I was (and am, I guess) extremely pro. /narcissism

I can't really say which of 3 or 1 I like more, mostly because I've only played 1 once. >.> I really need to own it and play it through as much as I have for 2 and 3...

You've watched Dark Samus get more and more powerful from all the phazon she absorbs throughout MP2 and at the start of 3. Now at the end, she's on an ENTIRE PLANET of the stuff. And it's the exact same fight as the second last Dark Samus fight in MP2. She's not even as powerful as she was in MP2! Fre.King.Lame.

Honestly, it is a very similar fight, but on Hypermode Dark Samus is weak in Echos. It's Emperor Ing that is a *******. I haven't played 3 Hypermode yet, but I see Samus still being fairly easy and Aura Unit being the boss. The reasoning behind this (I think) is when it comes down too it, Dark Samus is merely an icon for the Phaazon, which has a mind of it's own. That being said, she is a brain, and brains are usually not the strongest, unless you are Mother Brain. (Who would've kicked her *** if she was rebuilt in the prime trilogy. She wouldn't let this **** fly)

So Post-Metroid Prime (hardest boss ever on that series), I believe Dark Samus is weak because she is only an icon and the Emperor/Unit are the muscle. I guess an example would be Obama/Our Army.

I wish that ship would be in the ending of MP3, I didn't play Hunters because it didn't seem worthy. Maybe it'll be Adam....

What is your guys' opinion on Other M? I can honestly say I haven't beaten any of the Metroid games, but the trailers for Other M make me want to get it.

I think other M has potential to be my favorite game ever. Storyline wise, Trilogy represented the downfall of the space pirates perfectly. But after she destroys the Metroids, years pass and Super Metroid/Other M show the revival/demise (which also leads to fusion and x virus). I do feel like they need to expand on the prime of the space pirates (The "Metroid" era, I think I said that above), but besides that arc, this is the next best arc to expand on.

Gameplay wise it's the closest we'll get to Super Metroid like games, and the voice for Samus sounds really good too me. I'm really excited and pre-ordering it for my bday =3

Yes. Admiral Dane had a southernish Accent to his tone too which I adored. I didn't know the short hair was a flashback, mainly because in Metroid Manga/Metroid/MP1/MP2 she has long hair. That lead me to believe in II/Other M it's short, and grows back out for SM/Fusion, but oh well.

I think they will PR, honestly Other M will be great. Team Ninja + Metroid sounds great, and I like the VA so far.
