its only a guaranteed fair for metaknight if you're a little bit away from the edge (the sweetspot), he can escape if ur on the very very edge this is different from ganon, who gets fair'ed on the very very edge (lol can't find better words) -

Uses for Egg Lay
its teh mind games lol i usually use the djc egg lay and catch my opponent off guard, get in a better position and take a breather also egglay->dsmash pwns olimar. -
Saving uair for kills?
i always use it to combo in the beginning when the enemy has a low percentage then i save it for a kill, usually its enough. -
