Try playing someone more regional (the farther they are the more it will lag usually). And if you play "with anyone" that means its usually a 4 player FFA with items on. If you want custom matches (say 1 on 1 with no items) you gotta get friend codes.

Just ask to play people here and post your friend code.

I use to do that (assuming your using wiimote + nunchunk and not wiimote only). Except you never get your fingers back to A fast enough. So when I play with wiimote+nunchuck I have dpad down set to down smash and then I quickly press up+A.

Play online, or play versus other people with friend codes. I usually practice against CPUs with grabs and stickies :P. (powershield, stick).

True, though a C4 near the edge is a good deterrent for some people who like to edge guard. I usually try to toss a grenade in (and then see what they do before I decide to detontate it or not).

Haha, awesome clips. I've done the grenade thing before too (friend was Ike, I was Snake) we wound up tossing the grenade back in forth a few feet from each other like it was hot potato. Then I hit him up and he blew up. :D
