Well, I'm here. Although I don't visit smash boards very much. There's a few good players, but no scene to speak of. I was going to try make one when smash 4 comes out.

haha, damn. I thought that would be the case. I think most of the people are like you or me, grew up in Darwin then move away. I remember there being a few melee tournaments 5/6 years ago, but the people that hosted and competed in those have all moved interstate/overseas.

So, I'm thinking about coming to this... But I have no idea what's up with pools. What's the difference between a pool and a bracket? I won't be able to attend both days though =(

What's the point of a warm up, if people have to leave for the main event? Like, imagine I make it to the finals and I have to leave early, then I don't get to participate in the finals. I'd prefer to play in the finals, without a warm up, than to play doubles and miss out on the finals...

^ this. If I'm going to be leaving early, I'd prefer to have played the singles, rather than the doubles. Why not have doubles second, so that the people who need to go, can go, without missing too much. Otherwise, people will be leaving during the singles. I'd prefer to not play doubles, than...

Actually. . . I might not be able to make it after all. My mum called today, she is coming down and staying at my place for a week. Depends on the exact dates as to if I can make it. I'm not sure yet.
